Description
The common perception of the Metaverse is to bring reality into virtuality. But this perception will only lead guests to experience the hotel online instead of the properties, which conflicts with our campaign objective to bring more young guests to the hotel. That's why we decided to bring the "metaverse" part of the hotel into reality and let our guests experience the virtual side of the hotel. We did it by utilizing the virtuality to enhance their staying experience and also extend services that the hotel can never provide in reality. The result was 7 AR experiences in 12 Moxy Hotels in China and across APAC, localized for 4 languages and running from June to December 2022.
